Week 4: Seasoned Oyster Crackers

I admit this recipe is a little weak.. but give me a break, I was sick all week. I literally went to work, came home, and went to bed.

Basically, I wanted a snack and we were low on groceries. I was looking in the cabinet and found a box of oyster crackers. I got to thinking about the saltines with ranch dressing mix and crushed red pepper and thought I would try a variation.

Week 4: Seasoned Oyster Crackers

Here is the "Recipe":

Oyster Crackers
Olive Oil
Hot Sauce
Black Pepper
Garlic Salt
Cajun Seasoning (I would have preferred Cayenne pepper)
Cilantro
Zip Lock Bag
Wax Paper

Mix all the spices together with the olive oil and hot sauce in the zip lock bag. Add the oyster crackers and shake. Once all the crackers are coated evenly, spread them out on the wax paper to dry.

That's all!

So easy and yummy!

The great thing about this recipe is that it is more of an idea than a real recipe. The only "requirements" are oyster crackers, olive oil, and a zip lock bag. The rest can be customized to what is in the cabinets or your favorite spices.

Enjoy!
